Class Description

Keeping a visual journal or sketchbook using drawings and words is a way to record your travels, life experiences, pass time while waiting and it can even be a place to help work through life challenges. In this course you will learn: -Why keeping a sketchbook & visual journaling habit can enhance your life -Basic drawing skills for those who are beginners. Because I believe everyone can draw. Even if you say you can’t even draw a stick figure!! -Tips on getting started and maintaining a consistent practice. -Introduction to different mediums that are portable and can be used in a sketchbook. -How and why incorporating text into your sketchbook enriches the experience. As well as looking at different styles of lettering as a part of the visual effect typography can have. The classes are approximately 1.5 hour long, and you should expect to spend at least 5-15 minutes a day practicing while you learn the habit. Cost of the workshop is 275,000 COP Included in the cost of the class will be a custom sketchbook, a set of pens and one alcoholic or non alcoholic drink per person per class.
